Adam LaRoche is a former Major League Baseball first baseman. His father Dave, pitched for
the Angels, Twins, Cubs, Indians, and Yankees in the 1970s and early 1980s.
On March 15, 2016, LaRoche said that he intended to "step away from baseball." He said that
he would honor a request from teammates to reconsider his retirement for a day or two before
making an official announcement. On the next day, it was revealed that LaRoche's reason for a
possible retirement was that the White Sox had placed a restriction on his 14-year-old son
entering the team's clubhouse every day. By retiring, LaRoche walked away from a $13 million
As they say in the South, hunting and fishing has always been in Adam’s blood. When Adam
isn’t tossing the baseball around, he usually is preparing for the next hunting season. As Fall
arrives and the leaves begin to drop, he quickly trades his ball and glove for a bow and arrow.
LaRoche is one of the co-owners of Outdoor Networks hunting show Buck Commander with
friends and pro athletes Chipper Jones, Ryan Langerhans, Tom Martin, Luke Bryan, Jason
Aldean, and Willie Robertson who is from the Duck Commander series.
Adam and his wife Jenn established E3 Foundation in 2017. “Whether it be in the fight against
sex-trafficking or serving those who have served us–our Combat Veterans, our mission is to
serve others and fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. In the two years since we
began working towards that goal, we have seen lives changed and God honored. Our mission is
to continue His work and, like Him, never stop pursuing those in need. When our days of
serving are over, we hope to hear God say: “Well done, you’ve finished the race.
Adam and his wife Jenn are proud parents of two children – Drake and Montana.
Beast Feast is the annual men and boys only Sportsman Banquet hosted by the Second Baptist Men's Ministry in Conway, Arkansas. Beast Feast is an outreach made possible by our sponsors and volunteers. It is NOT a fundraiser.
